Teacher Immersion Program
AnuYoga’s Teacher Immersion Program equips yoga professionals with the tools and confidence to bring Iyengar Yoga practices to hospitals and rehabilitation centers.
What this program offers
Our Teacher Immersion Program is as engaging and cooperative as the yoga we practice. Yoga teachers often work independently; in our program, they apply rehabilitative practice in small groups.
Hands-on Training
We help teachers become seamlessly immersed in the medical system, both when interacting with patients and when working with medical teams handling complex cases. In this way, our teachers become an integral part of the rehabilitation routine. Our emphasis is on teamwork. We receive patients as a team, even working on a single patient in small, mixed-level groups. Teachers gain real-world experience through intensive exposure sessions, where they practice in supervised groups with patients facing a range of conditions. Training is currently only available to certified Iyengar Yoga teachers.
